HGTV is expanding its House Hunters franchise, adding a pair of new series the day after Thanksgiving and in the middle of December.
The network is adding a touch of humor with House Hunters Pop'd -- its spin on VH1's classic Pop Up Video. Premiering Nov. 28 at 11 p.m., the new series will feature irreverent tidbits, real estate trivia and witticisms about the home buyers, locations and the real estate market -- all of which pop up on-screen during each episode.
In Tiny House Hunters, HGTV is putting the cameras on home buyers as they track the large world of small living quarters. The show debuts from Dec. 15-19 at 10 p.m. (ET/PT).
“With House Hunters Pop’d and Tiny House Hunters we’re giving our most popular franchise a fun spin,” said Allison Page, general manager, HGTV and DIY Network. “No one knows better how to slice, dice and expand the House Hunters concept than we do.”
