Home Box Office has acquired the rights to forthcoming book Crix Nix Hix Pix: How to Bake a Blockbuster, and it plans to convert it into a documentary film that will debut next March.
Written by Variety editor in chief Peter Bart, the book chronicles the stories behind some of Hollywood’s biggest box-office hits.
The film will be produced and directed by Bill Couturie and executive-produced by Bart and Variety president and publisher Charlie Koones.
