HBO Sets June Miguel Cotto Fight

HBO will air the June 6 Miguel Cotto-Daniel Geale middleweight championship fight, the network said Thursday.

The fight from Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, NY will pit the champion Cotto (39-4 with 32 knockouts) against former two time world champion Geale (31-3, 16 KOs). The fight will be the fifth live boxing telecast for the pay service scheduled over the next two months begininng this Saturday (April 17) with the Lucas Matthysse/Ruslan Provodnikov-Terence Crawford/Thomas Dulorme doubleheader fight card.

Other upcoming HBO fights include the April 25 Wladimir Klitschko/Bryant Jennings fight; the May 9 Canelo Alvarez/James Kirkland bout; and the May 16 Gennady Golovkin/Willi Monroe Jr. telecast, said network officials.
