Former DirecTV Inc. chairman and CEO and DirecTV Group Inc. vice chairman Eddy W. Hartenstein has joined the board of directors of SanDisk Corp.
SanDisk said it is the original inventor of flash-storage cards and the world's largest supplier of flash-data-storage-card products.
Hartenstein was the direct-broadcast satellite provider’s chairman and CEO from 1990-2003. He then served as vice chairman of its parent company through his retirement in 2004.
