Harmonic Inc. announced a new family of course-wavelength-division-multiplexing gear: the “NDT 3140” transmitters in combination with “RDR 4002” receivers.
The new gear will be able to support the growing demand for interactive applications, while reducing the cost of provisioning services.
Harmonic said the new gear uses both time-division and wavelength-division multiplexing, allowing operators to expand upstream capacity for high-speed-data applications.
