Hallmark Channel named Allie Carsia director of marketing for the network and its spinoff, Hallmark Movie Channel, officials said Monday.
Carsia will work closely with Hallmark’s network-distribution and service staff to create affiliate-sales materials, including presentations, tapes and kits. She will oversee the development and execution of affiliate trade ads, direct-mail and e-mail programs and oversee the networks’ affiliate Web sites.
Carsia will be based in the networks’ Los Angeles office and report to Anthony White, vice president of marketing. She will work in tandem with White and Laura Masse, senior VP of marketing, to implement consumer media plans and to develop the networks’ trade show strategies.
Carsia previously worked at Reed Television Group as a regional sales manager, where she was responsible for managing all West Coast account activity and growing advertising revenue for Multichannel News and Broadcasting & Cable magazines. Prior to that role, she served as a regional account director for Lifetime Television.
