Hallmark Keeps Viewers Home for the Holiday Movies

For the last three weekends, Hallmark Channel's original holiday movies—An Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving, Moonlight and Mistletoe and this past weekend's The ChristmasChoir—have all achieved over a 3.0 household rating, attracting a combined 10.8 million viewers, officials said Tuesday.

This past Saturday’s premiere, The Christmas Choir, starring Jason Gedrick and Rhea Perlman, scored a 3.1 household rating, with more than 2.6 million homes, 3.4 million total viewers and 4.5 million unduplicated viewers.

This performance ranked the movie as the second-highest-rated cable movie of the day and the fourth-highest-rated movie of the week, and boosted the network to second place in primetime for the day among households (2.6) and women 25 to 54 (1.3) ratings. The ChristmasChoir also ranked among the Top 10 in key demo ratings and delivery:

Hallmark Channel ranked No. 8 in primetime for the week with a 1.6 household rating, reaching more than 1.3 million homes and more than 1.8 million total viewers.
