Hallmark Channel gave RHI Entertainment the green light to produce at least 12 original TV movies and three miniseries for 2007.
RHI, run by Robert Halmi Sr. and Robert Halmi Jr., has delivered more than 150 movies and miniseries to the network thus far.
Hallmark said three telefilms are currently in production on the West Coast: Claire, starring Valerie Bertinelli (Touched by an Angel) as a widowed mother of two who possesses psychic powers; In Spring Thaw, in which Melissa Gilbert (Little House on the Prairie) portrays a tough New York attorney attempting to reconnect with her ailing father, played by Ken Howard (In Her Shoes); and Love Is a Four Letter Word, a romantic comedy about divorce lawyers featuring Teri Polo (Meet the Parents), Robert Mailhouse (Sports Night), Barry Bostwick (Spin City) and Donna Mills (Knots Landing).
