CBS’ Judging Amy has found a basic-cable home on Hallmark Channel.
Starting Monday, Feb. 28, the first five seasons of the Twentieth Television drama will air Monday-Friday.
The series stars five-time Emmy Award-nominee and three-time Golden Globe Award-nominee Amy Brenneman and six-time Emmy-winner Tyne Daly.
“We expect to hit the ground running with Judging Amy because the series plays to the strengths that have made Hallmark Channel a top-10 cable network -- namely, acquiring programs that have large, loyal audiences and then introducing those audiences to the channel, often for the first time,” Hallmark executive vice president of programming David Kenin said in a prepared statement.
Twentieth president and chief operating officer Bob Cook added, “We have enjoyed a long and productive relationship with Hallmark Channel on such programs of ours asM*A*S*H and Doctor Quinn: Medicine Woman, and we are pleased to further expand this bond with Judging Amy.”
