The Grand Ole Opry turned 80, and Great American Country’s ratings turned upward.
The Scripps Networks-owned service said Monday that devoting October to the 80th anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry hiked its third-quarter ratings average 25% versus the same period last year.
GAC aired new series, specials, Opry marathons and five live episodes of Grand Ole Opry Live during the month.
