Gospel Music, i to Air Katrina Benefit

Gospel Music Channel and i (formerly Pax TV) will air the Gospel Angels Hurricane Katrina benefit concert Thursday, Sept. 22.

Gospel Angels will take place at Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park, with additional live performances originating from victim shelters across the country.

Gospel Music, the Gospel Music Association’s Project Restore, Paxson Communications Corp.’s i and veteran promoter Peter Conlon said 100% of funds raised through ticket sales and donations from concert goers and viewers will go to organizations meeting the basic living needs of tens of thousands of hurricane victims, including World Vision and Feed the Children.

Gospel Angels will air on Gospel Music Sept. 22 from 7 p.m.-10 p.m. (EST) and on i from 8 p.m.-10 p.m.
