GoPro To Provide HD Views from NHL All-Star Weekend
The National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players’ Association have netted a North American partnership with GoPro.
Under the deal, financial terms of which were not disclosed, GoPro's high-definition professional cameras will provide high-definition views on telecasts from the NHL's All-Star Weekend in Columbus, Ohio.
Developed in partnership.with Vislink, GoPro's Professional Broadcast Solution will feature players wearing the company's cameras to deliver real-time and multiple high-definition views from the Al l-Star Skills Competition on Saturday, Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. (ET) on NBCSN, the CBC and TVA Sports. Go Pro vistas are also expected to be on display on those services during the All-Star Game, which faces off at 5 p.m., the following day.
As part of the partnership, the NHL also will use GoPro’s equipment and expertise to deliver hockey fans with fresh looks during national and regional game broadcasts and across the digital and social media platforms of the NHLPA, NHL and GoPro.

As an official partner of the NHLPA and the NHL, GoPro will receive brand exposure across the NHL’s broadcast, digital and social media platforms – including NHL Network, NHL.com, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Vine. NHL video content also will be available at GoPro’s dedicated YouTube channel.
