Golden Globes Rack Up Social Traffic
Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards on NBC claimed a ratings win but also generated plenty of traffic on the social media circuit.
Twitter said its platform pumped out 4.4 million tweets globally during the broadcast (over a span that ran three hours and ten minutes)
Facebook, meanwhile, said 9 million people delivered 19 million “interactions” (posts, likes and comments) related to Sunday night’s event.
Facebook also touted tis work with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's in offering a 360-degree video view from the red carpet. A sampling can be seen here.
