GMC TV's Ratings 'Touched By An Angel'

GMC TV scored its best-ever weekend ratings with its Touched by an Angel marathon.

Part of the network’s “Calling All Angels” programming stunt, the series' debut marathon delivered GMC’s top weekend delivery among households, women and adults 25 to 54 on Sept. 15 and 16. The drama, which concluded its nine-season-run in 2003 on CBS, starred Roma Downey as an angel named Monica, and Della Reese as her supervisor Tess.

The weekend marathon peaked on Sept. 16 at 10 p.m. (ET) with 0.5 household rating, according to Nielsen data. Over the weekend, the series touched more than 2.8 million viewers, according to network officials. The series premiered as a part of GMC’s “Calling All Angels” September programming stunt which featured the hit song with the same name by Train and runs of the series 7th Heaven.

GMC TV is now stacking Touched by an Angel episodes weekdays in the 7 p.m. and 8 p.m hours.
