Giuliana Rancic To Star In Breast Cancer PSAs

Giuliana Rancic, whose Style reality series Giuliana & Bill returns for a fifth season in April, will star in a series of breast-cancer awareness PSAs that she will executive produce.

On the heels of its most-watched season, Giuliana & Bill will show the young married couple dealing with its toughest challenge yet: Giuliana's breast cancer.

Style says viewers will get an intimate look into Giuliana's journey as she returns to work, leaving Bill to find balance with their new houseguests -- Giuliana's parents, Anna and Eduardo. Also, this season will celebrate the couple's achievements, such as the opening of their restaurant RMP Italian in Chicago, which features many of Giuliana's mother's, Mamma DiPandi's, recipes and leads the couple to look for a new home in Chicago.

As their immediate focus is on Giuliana's recovery, the future is always top of mind for Giuliana and Bill as they continue to dream of one day starting a family, Style notes. Giuliana & Bill returns on Monday, April 2, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Style.

After announcing her fight against breast cancer in October 2011 (in December she underwent a double mastectomy), Giuliana was overwhelmed with the outpouring of support from thousands of women and their families who have been touched by her personal story. As a result, says Style, she and the network have teamed to executive produce and star in a series of PSAs educating viewers on breast cancer awareness. It's the latest chapter in the network's "Fight with Style" pro-social initiative set to kick-off in April.

Season 4 of Giuliana & Bill saw a 23% increase in total viewers and an 11% gain in women 18-49 over its prior season.

Giuliana & Bill is produced by Comcast Entertainment Studios, a division of NBCUniversal.
