Southern Entertainment Television said Monday that it will launch three music-video channels for the cable and direct-broadcast satellite markets in June.
The three SET channels will be carried on Telstar 7, Transponder 12 through the uplink facilities of Genesis Networks' Miami facility.
The programmer said SET will focus on Southern gospel music, SET2 on bluegrass and SET3 on classic black gospel music.
SET added that it currently has long-term cable-affiliation agreements with Comcast Corp. and the National Cable Television Cooperative.
