MavTV, a network targeting men, will launch June 16 in Fairbanks, Alaska, as part of General Communication Inc.’s newly created “Digital Sports Pak,” officials said Thursday.
“MavTV really brings a fresh look to men’s sports and programming interests, and we are very pleased to be adding it to our lineup,” GCI vice president of marketing Bob Ormberg said in a prepared statement.
Independent MavTV, owned by Mav’rick Entertainment Network, will carry a variety of programming on topics aimed at men 18-54, including sports; gaming; comedy; women and relationships; health and fitness; finance; gadgets; and movies.
