Great American Country is talking a Walk down Music Mile.
The network will be the exclusive television sponsor of the Music City Walk of Fame, set to debut in November along Music Mile in Nashville, Tenn.
The Scripps Networks-owned channel will also be the presenting sponsor of all induction ceremony concerts, beginning with the April 2007 class.
“When Scripps Networks acquired GAC and moved the network to Nashville in 2005, we decided that we wanted to be a major contributor to the growth and visibility both of Nashville and its music community," GAC president Ed Hardy said in a prepared statement.
"GAC's sponsorship of the Music City Walk of Fame and its related activities only strengthens that commitment and allows us to showcase Nashville, the music community and the talented people who make it so special on GAC's national television platform,” he added.
