GAC To Broadcast Underwood’s Grand Ole Opry Induction

Carrie Underwood, the multi-platinum selling country music star and former American Idol winner, will be inducted into the Grand Ole Opry May 10 at 8 p.m. ET during a live broadcast on the Great American Country network.

Ahead of the Opry Live program, Underwood fans can tune into Road to the Opry: Carrie Underwood, a half-hour special airing at 7:30 p.m. ET featuring an “exclusive interview to discuss her life, career and amazing journey,” the network said. It will also include highlights of her previous performances at the historic country music venue.

Underwood, the reigning ACM and CMA Female Vocalist of the Year, and other country music stars will perform live during the broadcast.

Great American Country is the exclusive home of the Grand Ole Opry and is available in more than 52 million households.
