G4 will provide coverage of the launches of two long-awaited video-game systems -- Sony’s PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii -- across all of its platforms.
The network will cover the debuts of the two gaming consoles on its linear network, its Web site, via podcasts on Apple Computers iTunes Music Store and via video-on-demand.
“At significant moments like this in the video-game industry, gamers know they can turn to G4 to see if it all lives up to the hype," G4 president Neal Tiles said in a prepared statement. "As the go-to network for video-game coverage, it only makes sense that we approach these events with a multiplatform mix that includes Web, podcasting and VOD coverage.”
