FX Signs Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson To Production Deal

FX has signed The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story producers Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson to and exclusive television deal, the company announced Thursday.

As part of the deal, Jacobson and Simpson – through their production company Color Force – will work with FX to pursue literary properties for all TV services and platforms. The deal does not cover the duo’s film projects, according to FX.

FX’s The People v. O.J. Simpson limited series won nine Emmy Awards this past Sunday night.

“For the past four years, we have had the honor of working with Nina and Brad and we’re grateful that they will continue to call FX Productions their home for television,” said FX Original Programming Presidents Eric Schrier and Nick Grad in a statement.  “Nina and Brad are two of the most accomplished producers in the business and their Emmy Award winning limited series The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story speaks volumes about their extraordinary talents. We‘re looking forward to working on many more great projects with them.”
