Fusion, Maker Studios Reach Cross-Platform Deal
Millennium-targeted Fusion has teamed with online content distributor Maker Studios to create a block of short-form video to air on the network.
The Maker branded block of programing will feature short-form content from across the Maker online network beginning with a best of 2014 special, said network officials. Maker will additionally offer Fusion content via its YouTube channel.
“Maker has an exceptional track record for identifying talent and content that resonates with millennials in the digital space. We are thrilled to bring some of that content to our television audience,” said Isaac Lee, Fusion chief executive officer in a statement. “We expect this will be just the beginning of a powerful, dynamic partnership with Maker.”
