Fuse Fortifies Regional Ad Roster

Fuse has boosted its ad sales department with a couple of hires and a promotion.

Kim Verkler and Maggie Helm have joined the music network as ad sales vice president of the midwest and western regions, respectively, while Michael Roche now holds that title for the eastern region. All three executives will report to Jason Miller, the network’s senior vice president of national ad sales.

As vice presidents, Verkler, Roche and Helm will manage advertising efforts in their respective regions for Fuse’s linear network, including the development of cross-platform integrated marketing partnerships and sales of original series, tours and events.  They will also oversee the region’s sales staff and work on strategies to maximize Fuse’s multiple assets.

Prior to joining Fuse, Verkler was a sales executive at Oxygen Media, Inc. She also held sales team positions at MTV, A&E Network, Turner Entertainment Network, and CBS.

Helm joins from ABC Family & abcfamily.com, where she served as a sales executive for five years.  She also worked at Turner Entertainment Network as an account executive and began her career at CASS Communication.

Roche, with Fuse's sales team since the network's inception, was elevated from a director position.

“Fuse is making an investment in key markets and it’s important for us to have people who can continue to strengthen these relationships,” said Miller in a statement. “Kim, Michael and Maggie are all seasoned ad executives and passionate leaders; we look forward to utilizing their knowledge, expertise and enthusiasm in these rapidly growing offices.”
