FS Midwest To Air All St. Louis Cardinals Games Locally In 2011

All local St. Louis Cardinals games will air on Fox Sports Midwest, starting with the 2011 Major League Baseball season.
FS Midwest, which has been televising about 130 Redbirds ballgames in recent seasons, will pick up an additional 20 contests that have been running on KSDK.

In the midst of a long-term rights deal, FS Midwest and the team had a provision in the contract to pick up the additional games, according to an FS official.

The move will leave the St. Louis market without any local over-the-air Cardinals' telecasts since they first started flying in the 1940s, according to a report.
Cardinals fans will have a chance to see their team on broadcast via KTVI, the Fox affiliate as part of the network's schedule.
