Fox Sports Names Ford To Lead Ohio Regional

Fox Sports Regional Networks has tapped Henry S. Ford to lead its service in Ohio.

Succeeding Steve Liverani, who was recently named general manager of Fox Sports Florida and Sun Sports, Ford will oversee all aspects of Fox Sports Ohio's business, including production, programming, advertising sales, marketing, and team relations, while also working in conjunction with Fox's affiliate relations group on distribution issues.
Ford joins Fox Sports Ohio after most recently serving as general sales manager of Fox Sports Detroit, where he was responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for the sale of advertising time and sponsorships.
"We're very pleased to have Henry lead FOX Sports Ohio," said Fox Sports Regional Networks executive vice president Jeff Krolik in a statement. "His deep knowledge of the media industry, especially the advertising component, will be a tremendous asset to our business. We're confident that his leadership will enhance the value that Fox Sports Ohio delivers to fans, team partners, distributors, and advertisers."
Prior to joining Fox Sports, Ford was senior director at the San Francisco Chronicle, responsible for marketing, media, and public relations for the newspaper and SFGate.com. In addition, he had management oversight of niche and custom publications for Chronicle Media.
