Fox Promotes Fang to National Accounts VP

Fox Cable Networks Monday announced the promotion of Jessica Fang to the position of vice president of national accounts.

The six-year network veteran will report to Michael Biard, senior vice president of affiliate sales and marketing.

Since joining Fox Cable Networks’ affiliate sales and marketing department in 2002, Fang has been a key member of the National Accounts team in some of the group’s most complex deals with partners such as Comcast, Cox and Insight, network officials said.

In that role, she has been involved with all aspects of Fox’s distribution efforts, including leading detailed negotiations, the creation of comprehensive financial models and the daily management of Fox’s distribution relationships under a wide variety of agreements.

“Jessica has been a crucial player in many of our most complex and challenging negotiations, while continuing to strengthen her outstanding rapport with our distribution partners—a testament to her terrific deal-making skills as well as her personal charm and wit,” Biard said in a statement.

Fang began her career at Fox Cable Networks as manager of national accounts and was later made director of sales strategy where she worked with business development on strategic plans for emerging networks. In 2007, she returned to national accounts as a director.
