'Fleabag' Wins Emmy for Best Comedy

Amazon comedy series Fleabag earned top Emmy honors in a competitive comedy category.  

The series beat out last year's winner The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as well as multi Emmy winner HBO's Veep in its final year of eligibility for the coveted statuette. 

Also nominated in the category were Netflix's Russian Doll, HBO's Barry, Pop TV's Shitt's Creek and NBC's The Good Place.
