'Fear the Walking Dead' to Return in August
AMC will ressurect the second half of zombie-themed series Fear the Walking Dead's sophomore season on Aug. 21.
The second-half, eight-episode Fear The Dead block was announced last night during AMC's Talking Dead post show, immediately after the mid-season finale. Fear The Dead's April season two premiere episode generated 8.8 million viewers, including 5.7 million adults 25-54 and 5.3 million adults 18-49 in live+3 ratings, according to AMC.
Fear the Walking Dead is executive produced by Dave Erickson, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert and stars Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam-Carey.
