ESPN's Heisman Trophy Special Scores On Twitter

ESPN’s 2015 Heisman Trophy Presentation took home the trophy for most social television show on Saturday, according to Nielsen.

The special, in which Alabama’s Derrick Henry won the coveted college football player of the year statuette, generated 235,000 tweets reaching a unique audience of 4.8 million Twitter users to top all shows, according to the Nielsen Daily Twitter TV ratings report.

NBC’s Saturday Night Live was second with 40,000 tweet reaching 1.2 million Twitter users, followed by ESPN’s 30 For 30 special, Starz’s Ash vs. Evil Dead and Fox News’ The Great Gutfeld Show.

The Ulitmate Fighting Championship’s UFC 194: Aldo vs. McGregor was the most tweeted live sports event, generating 603,000 tweets reaching nearly 5.4 million unique Twitter users, according to Nielsen.
