Emmys: Jon Hamm Wins Best Actor Award

Mad Men actor Jon Hamm finally won the Best Actor in a Drama series award for his portrayal of Don Draper in AMC's Mad Men.

In accpeting the award, Hamm -- who is in his final year of eligibility -- said: "There's been a terrible mistake ... its impossible to have done this hsow with this incredible cast and writers,"

Draper beat out Showtime’s Liev Schereiber of Ray Donovan, AMC's Bob Odenkirk of Better Call Saul, Netflix’ Kyle Chandler of  Bloodline & Kevin Spacey for House of Cards, and Jeff Daniels of HBO’s Newsroom.
