Ed Begley Jr. Added To Starz’s ‘Blunt Talk’
Veteran actor Ed Begley Jr. is one of several actors Starz has signed to appear in its new original comedy series Blunt Talk,” the pay TV service announced Tuesday.
The series, produced Seth MacFarlane, Jonathan Ames, Tristram Shapeero and Stephanie Davis, will feature Begley (Arrested Development), Karan Soni (Safety Not Guaranteed) and Romany Malco (Think Like A Man) in recurring roles. The actors join the previously announced cast led by Patrick Stewart (X-Men franchise, Ted) Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook) and Adrian Scarborough (The King’s Speech) in the series, which follows a British import intent on conquering the world of American cable news.
The series will premiere on Starz this summer, according to the network.
