East, McConkey Added to ACC Institute Program

Ellen East, EVP and chief communications officer at Time Warner Cable, and Cindy McConkey, SVP of corporate communications at Scripps Networks, will join a panel discussion at the 2010 Cable Communications Institute.
East and McConkey will address the communications challenges of cable retransmission consent and renewal negotiations.
The Institute, ACC's graduate-level educational conference, is designed for mid to senior level industry communications executives who would like to expand their knowledge base and advance their capabilities to the next level and takes place June 13-16 in New York City.
Richard Edelman, CEO of Edelman New York, and Michael Willner, CEO of Insight Communications, also are on the program on the institute program. By reviewing communications and public affairs issues and techniques, participants will enhance practical skills while sharpening expertise on the overall impact of communications on an organization.

The institute takes place in New York City at Syracuse University's Lubin House facility adjacent to Central Park on 61st Street. Space is limited to the first 25 qualified applicants.
