E! Team Will Walk 50th Grammys Red Carpet

Although there’s no guarantee the network will get to put its best foot forward with the Academy Awards in a couple of weeks, E! Entertainment Television’s red carpet team will be in full force at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards tomorrow.

From the early arrivals and the celebrity couples to all the fashion moments in between, E! will be on the scene at Staples Center in Los Angeles Feb. 10. The three-hour Live from the Red Carpet commences at 5 p.m. (ET/PT). Moreover for the first time, the Comcast-owned service will present its red-carpet Grammy fare in Spanish-language SAP simulcast.

Join Giuliana Rancic and the rest of the E! team plan to catch up with some of this year's outstanding performers like record of the year nominees Beyonce, Foo Fighters, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake. Network hosts are also expected to chat it up with Fergi, Christina Aguilera, John Mayer, Seal and Maroon 5.

Online, E! will furnish music lovers with a printable scorecard and predictions in all the big categories. E! Online will also conduct a series of fan polls about musical stars, and which celebritries have the best outfits via close-ups on “Glam Cam.” Additionally, E! will offer digital backstage peeks.

The following night at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), Debbie Matenopoulos, Jay Manuel and sharp-tongued hair-stylist-to-the-stars Peter Ishkhans will play the authorities on Fashion Police: The 2008 Grammy Awards, grading all the couture hits and wardrobe malfunctions.

Unlike the Oscars, the Grammys, which will be televised by CBS at 8 p.m. Sunday, reached an intermim agreement with the striking Writers Guild of America, meaning there will be no picket lines to muck-up the proceedings.
