Disney Channel stars Laura Marano (Austin & Ally) and Leigh-Allyn Baker (Good Luck Charlie) have been tapped to star in the network’s latest original movie Bad Hair Day.

The movie, which will debut in 2015, stars Marano stars as a high school tech whiz whose plans to be prom queen go awry when her hair becomes uncontrollable, and has to rely on a down-on-her-luck cop (Baker) who's in pursuit of a missing necklace that the teen unwittingly has in her possession to make things right.

Bad Hair Day will be directed by Erik Canuel (Bon Cop, Bad Cop) and produced by Muse Entertainment.  Baker will serve as executive producers along with Joel Rice, Denise Carlson, Dawn Wolfrom and Michael Prupas, said the network.
