Discovery Communications signed a multiyear deal with RSG Media Systems to use the software vendor's Zoox digital ad-sales software services.
Discovery will deploy the Zoox suite of tools to its digital ad-sales teams to automate sales planning and proposal building, as well as to help track and organize deals. Other features of the software include the ability to map rate cards and product pricing to specific events, periods or quarters; product and inventory data analysis; and automated pricing guidance for revenue optimization.
"Digital publishers' ad operations teams have been suffering for years without the proper tools to enable the expansion of their business," RSG vice president of digital services Katherine Strieder said in a statement. "With the implementation of Zoox, we look forward to delivering a product that supports Discovery Communications' digital ad sales team."
New York-based RSG's other products include Rights Logic, a rights-and-royalties management tool, and Planit, an ad sales proposal management system. Customers include Viacom's MTV Networks and Cablevision Systems' Rainbow Media Holdings.
