Discovery Ups One, Adds Two

Discovery Networks U.S.’ affiliate sales and marketing group promoted Greg Yavello to regional director for the south-central region and hired Brooke Driskill and Brenna Vincent as account directors for the Northern and Western regions, respectively.

Lisa Delligatti, senior vice president, affiliate sales and marketing, made the announcement.

Yavello, a seven-year Discovery veteran, oversees distribution of the programmer’s 17 U.S. networks throughout the south-central region of the country and develops and manages the region’s sales team. Previously, as regional director of affiliate sales and marketing for the Western region, he served in the same capacity for the West, Northwest and Southwest regions of the country.

Driskill is responsible for the distribution and marketing of the company’s networks across the Northeast region of the country. She works across the company’s business units and drives business and sales strategies and messages to the field. She joined Discovery from Pitney Bowes Inc., where she served as senior account executive, developing and executing business solutions for office technologies.

And Vincent oversees the distribution and marketing of Discovery’s domestic networks across Northern California, the Pacific Northwest, Hawaii, Alaska and Guam. In addition to overseeing distribution and marketing, she works with affiliates to understand their goals and creates customized solutions to meet their business objectives. She had been manager, affiliate sales and marketing, Western region for Fox Cable Networks.
