Discovery Familia and MiTú have joined for a cross-platform programming deal to bring MiTú’s latino content to Discovery Familia's digital and TV audiences, the networks announced today.
MiTú has licensed two long-format version of the series, Casa Linda and Gurús de Belleza, to premiere of Discovery Familia.
“With this strategic partnership we have the opportunity to continue to expand our content offering, leveraging up and coming MiTú talent and reaching our audience with storytelling that travels across platforms,” said Vice President of Content for Discovery Familia and Discovery en Español, Bilai Joa Silar in a release.
Both shows will continue to run on MiTú Life, where they were originally produced, while Discovery Familia will air original episodes weekly.
