Major League Baseball returns for the second half of its 2014 season and In Demand is looking to bring more fans into its out-of-market dugout with a free preview.
In Demand will offer a week-long freeview of MLB Extra Innings package from July 18 through 24.
MLB Extra Innings presents over 80 games per week through the end of the regular season on Sept. 28. The half-season package is available for $119. New for 2014: access to the top live streaming sports service, MLB.TV, is now included with MLB Extra Innings subscriptions. Authenticated subscribers can check out the Extra Innings action on some 400 supported mobile and connected devices.
Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, Bright House Networks and Cablevision, as well as many independent affiliates, are offering the freeview.
Among the package’s other features:
*Dual feeds: In Demand delivers both the home and visiting team broadcasts of the same game when scheduling permits, so fans can select the telecast they want to watch.
*Multiscreen mosaic: Fans can preview which games are currently playing with the rotating mosaic of multiple screens that shows all the available live action, along with scores, inning and channel location.
HD: Many games are provided in the enhanced format; carriage varies by system.
