Tom Cullen joined EchoStar Communications as executive vice president of corporate development.
Cullen had been president and chief operating officer of wireless-technology company TensorComm.
At EchoStar, he oversees business-development functions including sourcing, evaluation, structure and closure of potential acquisitions, investments and joint ventures, as well as the direct-broadcast satellite provider’s Internet-service-provider strategy and implementation, broadband opportunities and customer introduction of new broadband-related products.
Cullen reports to EchoStar president Carl Vogel.
