Cox Names Paul Cronin SVP Of Customer Experience

Cox Communications said Paul Cronin has joined the national operations team in Atlanta as senior vice president of customer experience, reporting to newly appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer Jill Campbell with responsibility for ensuring a seamless customers service experience across all product lines and communication channels.

The move was effective in May. A search for Cronin's New England-Cleveland system successor is currently underway.

Cronin is a 25-year cable industry veteran who began his career at Cox in the company's New England cable system in 1999 as vice president of customer care. Prior to his recent promotion, Cronin served as general manager of the company's New England-Cleveland system, a three-state, 1,400-employee operation serving several hundred thousand customers in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Ohio. Before joining Cox, Cronin enjoyed a successful career with Media One and Continental Cablevision.

"Paul's background includes directing large customer care organizations and providing strategic operational leadership across diverse teams and functions," Campbell said in a released statement. "Cox has consistently been recognized for its customer experience leadership among its competitors. We believe Paul can help enhance our performance further to increase satisfaction and deliver positive business results."
