Court TV’s Forensic Files Heads to U.K.

Court TV’s signature series, Forensic Files, will go across the pond to celebrate its 200th episode later this month.

“Making the Collar” will tell the story of the disappearance of a young girl in Leeds, England. The installment will premiere Aug. 27 at 9 p.m. as part of the network’s “Forensics Week” stunt.

From Aug. 23-27, Court TV will air new episodes of the series in that time slot. On Aug. 29, the network will serve up installments from 8 p.m.-11 p.m., including an encore of the 200th episode at 10 p.m.

“People are fascinated by forensics, as shown by the number of crime-scene-related dramas on the air today, but there is nothing more captivating than a true story, which is why we believe Forensic Files has been such a success. Airing the 200th episode is a special treat for viewers and a real celebration for the network,” Court TV president and chief operating officer Art Bell said in a prepared statement.
