Costas Lines Up Stern, Bettman, 'Pretty Boy' for Premiere Interview Show on NBC Sports Network

On his first interview show for NBC Sports Network, Bob Costas will bring some heavy-hitters into viewers' living rooms.
During the premiere of Costas Tonight on March 1 at 8 p.m., the 22-time Emmy winner will talk from Studio 8G at 30 Rockefeller Plaza with NHL commissioner Gary Bettman, and his counterpart at the NBA David Stern, who will address among other subjects, "Linsanity.
Costas will also exchange questions and answers with boxing's Floyd Mayweather, Jr. in advance of his May 5 bout against Miguel Cotto.
Encores of the inaugural 60-minute Costas Tonight are scheduled  that night at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m.; March 2  at 2 a.m., 9 a.m., 5 p.m. and 11 p.m.; March 3  at 8 p.m.; and March 4 at 10 p.m.
On Thursday of Super Bowl week, NBC Sports Network kicked off the first of the journalist's quarterly town hall meeting shows Costas Tonight: Live From the Super Bowl. The two-hour live program in front of a studio audience from the Indiana Repertory Theater on Feb. 2 featured some of the NFL's biggest newsmakers and stars, including a one-on-one interview with NFL ommissioner Roger Goodell.
The Costas Tonight: Live From...series continues on April 4, with a discussion of the state of college athletics before a live studio audience at 30 Rock. The second Costas Tonight interview program is scheduled for May 31.
