Comedy Redrawn to Drawn Together
“Animated reality series” Drawn Together will return to Comedy Central for a third season, the network said Wednesday.
The 14-episode third season will debut during the fourth quarter of 2006.
Drawn Together, which follows SouthPark on Wednesday nights, has averaged 2.1 million total viewers and a 1.3 Nielsen Media Research rating in the key viewers 18-49 demographic, Comedy said.
“We can’t get enough of these dysfunctional housemates, and we are thrilled to see what the third season brings to our beloved animated reality stars,” Comedy executive vice president of original programming and development Lauren Corrao said in a prepared statement. “Drawn Together has given us, along with SouthPark, a solid hour of animated comedy, and the creators continue to bring in creative, hysterical story lines that keep us wanting more.”
