Comedy Central Sets 'Superhero' To Fly

Comedy Central will premiere Superhero Movie over Halloween Weekend.

The theatrical will debut on the service on Saturday Oct. 30 at 9 p.m. It will encore on Halloween at the same time and then air again on Nov.1 at 7 p.m.

Written and directed by Craig Mazin (Scary Movie 3), Superhero Movie stars Drake Bell, Kevin Hart and Leslie Nielsen. When Rick Riker (Bell) is bitten by a genetically-altered bug, he develops super-human powers and decides to become a superhero - The Dragonfly.
Scientist Lou Landers (Christopher McDonald), though, has his own plan to become a supervillain. In this comedic take on superhero movies, The Dragonfly attempts to save the world -- if he can only keep his tights from riding up his butt. The movie also includes appearances by Tracy Morgan, Pamela Anderson, Dan Castellaneta, Jeffrey Tambor and Nicole Sullivan.
