Combs Celebrates Revolt's 1st Year with Miami Beach Event

Revolt TV celebrated its one-year anniversary with a music affair at Miami's Foutainbleu Hotel.

The first of the day of the inaugural Revolt Music Conference got started with a welcoming remarks from CEO Keith Clinkscales. Activities on Oct. 17 also included keynotre addresses from Guy Oseary, manager and founder of Maverick, whose clients include U2, Pharrell and Madonna, as well as Bob Pittman, the MTV and AOL executive and current chairman and CEO of IHeartMedia.

There was also a full day of panels and performances from the likes of Flo Rida, Jhene Aiko and SZA, not to mention eats, drinks and Miami Beach parties.

Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, the chairman of Revolt, which counts Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Verizon FiOS, Suddenlink and Century Link as affiliates, was on hand for a number of the panels, including the “Disruptors: The Future of Business” where he spoke with panelists Vevo president and CEO Rio Caraeff, Shazam chief revenue officer Kevin McGurn of Shazam, Spotify artists services exec Britt Morgan-Saks, SoundCloud CEO Alex Ljung and Lars Murray, vice president of music industry relations at Pandora. The panel was moderated by Kenna.
