Collins Stewart Monday announced Thomas Eagan has joined the firm as a senior research analyst where he’ll be responsible for managing the investment bank’s new media research group.
Eagan, who will be based in New York City, previously served as a senior analyst covering the cable and satellite television sectors as well as entertainment and digital media stocks for Oppenheimer & Co.
Prior to joined Oppenheimer, Eagan covered the same industries as a senior analyst for UBS. He’s also previously served as Finance Manager at HBO and as a media buyer at Ingalls Associates, a Boston-based advertising agency.
“We are pleased to have Tom join our research team,” Shawn McLoughlin, CEO and President of Collins Stewart’s North American operations, said in a statement. “The depth and breadth of his experience will not only be a great asset to our overall research capabilities, it comes at a time when Collins Stewart growth in North America is accelerating.”
