CNN Midterm-Election Sponsors: Three So Far

AARP, Norfolk Southern and the Partnership for Prescription Assistance signed on as sponsors for CNN’s coverage of the 2006 midterm elections.

The sponsors will have shared, customized on-air billboards and tagged tune-in spots for election coverage across all CNN networks.

The network said its election coverage will include: sponsored live primetime special events; investigations; special reports with Lou Dobbs; a weeklong expanded The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and Paula Zahn; three consecutive nights of wall-to-wall news and analysis surrounding election night; exclusive ( news stories; digital special features including streaming media, wireless polls, interactive-TV reports and podcasts; and grassroots local reporting from the CNN Election Express bus.
