Rainbow DBS’ Voom received a “CNET Editors' Choice” award, the Cablevision Systems Corp.-owned HD direct-broadcast satellite service said Thursday.
Voom launched in October.
“It is an honor to be recognized by such a reputable source as CNET, which consumers have come to know and trust when making purchase decisions," Rainbow DBS chief marketing officer Jeffrey Yapp said in a prepared statement.
"Voom is committed to being a complete source for HD programming, and we will continue making HDTV more accessible to consumers,” he added.
