CMT Buys New Cheerleader Show
CMT is expanding adding another cheerleader show to its programming lineup, saying it will premiere ‘I Want to Look Like a High School Cheerleader Again’ in October.
The network said it signed Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders trainer Jay Johnson to “whip 10 women back into their high school cheerleading shape.”
Johnson will work with the women throughout a 10-week period. The confessants will compete for a $50,000 prize and the chance to perform again in front of a live audience.
‘I want to Look Like a High School Cheerleader Again’ is CMT’s second cheerleader show. The network is also preparing for the second season of Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team.
