CMT to Air Glen Campbell Tribute Special

CMT will celebrate the life and legacy of country music star Glen Campbell with a special airing this Thursday (Aug. 10).

The 30-minute news special, CMT Remembers Glen Campbell, will be hosted by CMT’s Cody Alan and Katie Cook and will feature rare archival photos, interviews and performances from the musical icon, who died Tuesday from complications related to Alzheimer's disease.  

The special will also feature some of the best moments from variety series The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour, which aired on CBS from 1969 to 1972. In addition, the special will feature tributes from Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and Reba McEntire, CMT said.
